Nomura Preschool begins to lay the foundations of learning readiness and social interaction in the Chicky class.
In this class, two- and three-year-olds focus on sharing, role-playing, and the development of good listening and communi-cation skills. Chickies also develop social and self-help skills in a warm and encouraging environment.
Children, teachers, and parents participate in potty-training exercises to help the little ones learn to stay dry all day!
Music is an important part of the Chickies’ day. Sharing songs and poems, with creative movement, is a great way for children to express themselves, and develop an understanding of pitch, rhythm, and rhyming. A specialist teacher also visits the class twice a week to provide enrichment music classes, and prepare students for perform-ance opportunities. Throughout the Chickies’ day, there are many opportunities for creative and free play. In this first class at Nomura Preschool, children have fun learning, and it shows!
