Four to Five Years Old
In the Penguin class, our experienced teachers focus on preparing four and five year old students for success in Kindergarten.
Our
program is designed to develop learning readiness by introducing
conceptual exercises, simple theory in math and language skills, and
creative arts.
Using manipulatives, workbooks, and examples from
daily life, students learn basic addition, subtraction, grouping,
graphing, and number theory.
Penguins learn pre-reading skills with exercises in letter recognition, phonics, rhyming and sound groups.
Creative
projects reinforce lessons in all subject areas, hone motor skills, and
bring learning to life for our enthusiastic Penguins.
Our
Penguin graduates attend a variety of elementary programs, from public
to parochial, to the most competitive independent schools, and are well
prepared for social and academic success in the school of their choice.
